Deb Santorineos

Before Undisputed I did lots of cardio and barley any strength training, I had no clue what I was doing.  Now knowing what I know, I’ve gained strength, stamina and mental grit to be where I am today.

I’ve overcome a lot of challenges personally,  physically and mentally.   I’ve learned that the competition is truly “me against me!

Physically I’m in the best physical shape I have ever been in…. who knew I could do pull ups!

Aside from my physical appearance and personally feeling great, it is my personal “can do” attitude that I take everywhere.

People should know that it’s more than a gym and more than a workout, it’s a lifestyle, a family and we welcome everyone!

Q and A’s

Where were you at (physically/mentally/etc.) before USC?

Before Undisputed I did a lot of cardio and went to an average gym and did basic workouts and saw basic results.  I didn’t do much strength training and when I did, I had no clue what I was actually doing.

Where are you at now?

I can tell you from going to Undisputed and doing what I do now and knowing what I know now that what I did before would hardly be considered working out.  I have gained strength,  stamina and mental grit to be where I am today.

What challenges have you overcome as a part of our family?

I’ve overcome a lot of challenges personally,  physically and mentally.   I’ve learned that the competition is truly “me against me” in all aspects of my life and that I have to have patience and let my faith be bigger than my fears.

What accomplishments are you most proud of as a result of training w/ us?

I’ve accomplished so much inside and out of the gym.  Physically I’m in the best physical shape I have ever been in…. who knew I could do pull ups! Ha!

I’ve taken what I’ve learned at the gym and have honestly used it in all aspects to better myself.  I can’t really pinpoint one thing because my list goes on and on.

What are the biggest benefits you’ve seen as a result of training here?

Aside from my physical appearance and personally feeling great, it is my personal “can do” attitude that I take everywhere.

What do you love most about USC?
I love the team that surrounds me, from the coaches to my fellow crossfitters.  Without each and every one of them, I wouldn’t be where I am now.  Oh and let’s not forget how much I love the dogs!

How does walking the doors of USC make you feel?

Walking through the doors in the morning for 8am class is the best.  It is such a motivating group that jazzes me up for the day.

What 3 words best describe USC?

Supportive,  Positive and Enhancing

What would you say to someone who is considering joining our family but is on the fence?
You only regret what you don’t do, so do it…. unless of course you don’t want to see amazing results and be surround by people who care about you because you will get all of that and more!

What’s something you wished everybody knew about USC?

It is more than a gym and more than a workout, it is a lifestyle, a family and we welcome everyone!

Anything else to say

In a world full of scratch the surface people, go for the depths of the ocean… in all aspects of your life. Cheers!
